G'day Mate...now its 16 degrees! I cant wait for spring. Anyway, I won't be going to school with Madhavi. Oh well...but I will be going to her birthday party soon, so I can send your regards to her. Besides that, we did a little bit of shopping today. Mango has like this 60% storewide sale. Bought this top and it was so cheap. Anyway, will shop more later. Right now I am just in the city and updating you guys about things here. Surprisingly its colder than Melbourne here. Will be going to this Church thing on Friday. Yup, we have found our church, basically, its an asian community and stuuf. So anyway there is this Adrenalin concert thing this friday night. Guy Sebastian, Youth Alive, and some other bands from New York and Queensland would be there. SO its goona be quite cool. Oh yeah, Australian Idol just started and I must say that they are so so so much better than the Singapore Idol contestants! I already have so many favourites! Besides that there are so many funny people. Like there was this girl who said this 'Hi. I am supposed to be in year 12, but I failed. I am in year 9 now!' That means (in Singapore context), I am in J2 but since I failed, I am now in secondary 3! Isnt that hilarious! Well, thats th end of this little update so tag more and I will try to update as much!
Cheers

Hey Guys.
Right now I am in the city, at Isabelle's Dad's office. So we have internet connection here for a while. Will only be getting internet connection later when everything else is pretty much settled.
Anyway, well, its pretty awesome here. Freezing at night...honestly, like it was 0degrees the other day, thnaks goodness we were not here yet.
We have like this food place right outside our house. There is like Subway, Hungry Jack;s, pizza hut, some giant supermarkets and this plaza.
I will be registering in Applecross Senior High School, the same school as Madhavi. Yup, just that I have to stay back one year.
ok...pretty busy now, so gotta go! have fun tagging

Ok...So i wont be updating this for a while when i get to Perth, so I am gonna create like another tag board specially for this subject I wanna talk about! This is pretty random but, its gonna be kind of fun! (Aren't you just excited!) So if you are free...please tag it. This is to basically enable me to have more songs in my Ipod and not limit myself to the same old songs! Therefore this probably only benefits me, but just do it k! After all this blog was created to benefit me...muahaha!Here are the rules to this open forum...(haha..) ok!
A. You are supposed to tell me about some band/singer/song/whatever that you think is amazing and why so!
B. You can give your comments about other bands you don't like or can't stand whatever, but don't criticise someone else's taste of music cos that is the reason why they have different genres! (like duh)
C. Thats it. So to get the ball rolling, I am gonna list my top 20 bands today! Feel free to comment or suggest now ok! I mean it would take like 5 seconds only right>>1 thousand, 2 thousand, 3 thousand, 4 thousand, 5 thousand...see you are already done!

I saw a peanut stand, heard a rubber band,
I saw a needle that winked its eye.
But I think I will have seen everything
When I see an elephant fly.
I saw a front porch swing, heard a diamond ring,
I saw a polka-dot railroad tie.
But I think I will have seen everything
when I see an elephant fly.
I seen a clothes horse, he r'ar up and buck
And they tell me that a man made a vegetable truck
I didn't see that, I only heard
But just to be sociable I'll take your word
I heard a fireside chat, I saw a baseball bat
And I just laughed till I thought I'd die
But I'd be done see'n about everything
when I see an elephant fly.
Just For Laughter Peace And Joy...something we all lack.
Taken from the Disney Soundtrack...Not that knee, but this knee ok.

Ok. So now that we have gotten over the fact that Daniel is gay, I need some sort of a juice to quench my dying brain and I am not creating a superhero or villian, its down to some more important stuff.
So we will be leaving 12th August (next sat) in the morning, flights probably at 9. well. cant go out with anyone this weekend cos of family commitments. Now the worst part of this is its smack right in the middle of your prelims!! So i don't really expect anyone to come down when we go, but I hope to see you guys again before I leave.
There has been some other changes such as our accomodation and school (cos of the delay...duh), so yup, pretty lost about which school I am going to now, but whatever. Due to the delay(again)earlier this year, i think i have to stay back a year in school!! Whatever, do I really care. No. Now i will just be going the same speed as any normal Singapore kid stuck in this little red dot. At least I skipped the dreadful O levels.
I feel like over this wait i have began to learnt that life is not all about being the smartest kid in class and getting jealous when your friend gets higher. Its definitely not about winnng the gold medal in that swimming or cross country race and all the slogging out you put yourself through just to get your short moment of glory, before it vanishes again and you are left with a new season to work for. I guess I have finally discovered my real purpose in life, though it just seems so impossible.
I want to make a difference(sounds so Singaporean)in his plan to give us life after death instead of just sitting around saying I am saved and watch others pass by knowing that they might not know the real purpose of life. It just hurts the way people think christians put on a act of being 'so holy' and are like in a totally different world where they are nothing but conservative. I just wish I could let them know that Christians also have fun, and actually, have way much more fun knowing that they are free from expiry till God says its time for them to leave. It only gets better after that, imagine!
I know I am so protected in this environment where most of my friends know about Christ and do not discriminate against various religions. I just pray that I will find such amazing friends when I get to Aus.
(The Worry Begins To Kick In and Mentally, this verse runs through everyones mind "trust in the Lord...")
I am serious, its so cliche. You know...We need more than trust in times like this, we need a strong faith in him and his good favour upon us, and he will give this abundantly, so right now, I have nothing to fear!
Christine
P.S: Change of plans, free on saturday morning. So Shi You, I might be able to go out with you?.
